This work is the product of cooperation between the International Observatory on eInvoicing at the Politecnico di Milano, a neutral, third-party body rooted in a top-flight academic institution dedicated to conducting objective empirical and independent research on global eInvoicing and eReporting trends, and the Global Interoperability Forum, an informal industry body of senior practitioners drawn from leading networks and industry organizations.
The White Paper sets out to describe and analyze in an authoritative manner the current and continuing global shift to eInvoicing by examining its key characteristics, motives for adoption, and models of implementation. It is designed to aid decision makers and industry stakeholders to formulate policy objectives and desired outcomes, as countries and business communities evolve their way forward.
